  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and production constraints
  • Lead, coach, and develop frontline leaders and production teams
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational discipline
  • Drive consistent adherence to systems, processes, and standards
  • Maintain high standards across food safety, quality, and health & safety

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations management
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build high-performing teams
  • Background in manufacturing, food production, or horticulture operations
  • Strong organisational and analytical capability
  • Experience with ERP systems and operational reporting (Dynamics 365 advantageous)
  • Continuous improvement mindset with LEAN experience highly regarded
  • Ability to balance operational priorities, deadlines, and changing demands
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple teams
  • A practical, hands-on manager who drives accountability and results
  • High attention to detail with a structured and disciplined approach

Why Join Southern Fresh?

  • Be part of a growing, forward-thinking horticulture business
  • Join a company focused on building world-class systems, people, and operations
  • Take ownership of a key leadership role with real influence across the business
  • Opportunity to drive meaningful systems and process improvements
  • Work alongside a practical, supportive, and ambitious leadership team
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment where your ideas and input are valued
  • Opportunity to grow your leadership capability and make a visible impact
