About the role:

We are looking for a fixed term irrigation team member to join our outdoor team Sunday – Thursday (approximately 40 – 50 hours per week) for the summer season starting mid-late September. For the right person, there may also be long term opportunities in our outdoor cropping team.

This is a varied role requiring a hands-on approach across our horticulture operation to ensure our irrigation program is followed and completed across the crops.

This role will be responsible for driving tractors, setting up irrigation on farms and monitoring the irrigators. Previous experience is advantageous, but we will provide you with on-the-job training. Just bring along your can-do attitude, your willingness to work and a smile.

About you:

• Must have NZ Drivers Licence
• Tractor driving experience advantageous
• Field irrigation experience advantageous
• Have basic mechanic skills
• Physically fit
• Good communication
• Be able to work in an ever-changing outdoor environment
• Be a team player
• Must be flexible on working hours (due to weather)
