Kiosk Operator

This is a part Time Permanent position which includes covering team members and would suit candidates who want flexibility and are willing to sometimes help out working non rostered shifts

Smart Environmental Limited works on behalf of local councils, businesses, and communities across New Zealand. Recently acquired by Blue Planet, our mission is to divert waste from landfill, and with a large fleet of collection vehicles and line haul operations, we are committed to driving sustainability for the communities and businesses we serve.

The role:

• Location: Motueka
• Contract Type: Permanent Part Time
• Hours: Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating with customers and the public
• Process eftpos Transactions
• Reading Scales/Weights
• Use of POS Computer systems
• Strong awareness of Health and Safety
• Recycling Products

Skills and experience:

• Class 1 Driver Licence
• Forklift Licence could be advantageous
• Sound computer skills with good judgement and initiative
• Experience with cash handling and processing eftpos transactions
• Great customer service and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
