Driver – Class 2/4

Who are you?

• You are a professional driver with an interest in a driving position, and you recognize that there is more to being a professional than simply holding onto the steering wheel.
• You hold a current Class 2 and Class 4 licence, with flexibility to drive both Class 2 and Class4 vehicles
• Tipping experience is preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in sideload is preferred but not essential.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual/physical work.
• You are honest, trustworthy, willing to learn (training provided), and able to work individually as well as part of a team, including giving a hand with a variety of yard work.
• You must not be afraid to get out of the vehicle and do some physical work. Holding on to the steering wheel is only one part of this role.

Your Role

• Drive Class 2 and Class 4 vehicles.
• Operate rear loader and or side loader collection vehicles as required.
• Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain logs (Eroad/logbook)
• Use company technology confidently (tablet/mobile phone)
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling and yard-based tasks
• Adhere to all Health and Safety standards and procedures
