Are you a reliable and motivated Class 2 Driver looking for your next opportunity? Smart Environmental is looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our Eastern Waikato Commercial team based in Kopu.

About the Role

  • Permanent Full-Time
  • Minimum 40 hours per week
  • Based in Kopu, Eastern Waikato

This role involves operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently while supporting day-to-day commercial collections and servicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting
  • Operate vehicles safely and in line with company procedures
  • Complete Eroad/logbook requirements accurately
  • Follow health and safety processes at all times
  • Perform physical duties, including getting in and out of the truck throughout the day

Skills & Experience

  • Full NZ Class 2 Driver Licence (or equivalent)
  • Experience driving heavy vehicles
  • Background in transport, logistics, collections, or delivery work
  • Comfortable using mobile technology and apps
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Hiab/Truck Loader Crane experience or endorsement (desirable but not essential)
