About the role:
We’re looking for a Commercial and Operations Analyst to join our team on an initial 6-month fixed term contract to play a key role in driving operational and commercial
performance.
This role sits at the intersection of Operations, Finance, and Data, with a strong focus on improving performance through meaningful, data-driven insights. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities, solve problems, and support better decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify operational inefficiencies through data analysis and highlight actionable improvement opportunities operational data to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with Operations and Finance to ensure alignment between service performance and financial outcomes.
- Build and maintain reporting frameworks,
including KPIs, dashboards, and customer profitability views
- Analyse regional performance using local
geographic knowledge to optimise routes and service delivery
- Support day-to-day problem-solving and
continuous improvement initiatives across the networks
- Deliver clear, practical insights to leadership
to support decision-making
- Improve data quality, streamline reporting
processes, and drive automation where possible
About you:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in an operational,
service, or analytical environment, working with real-world data and business
processes
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain,
Logistics, Data/Analytics, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Strong Excel capability, including handling
large datasets, building models, and producing structured reports
- Practical experience with Power BI, including
developing or maintaining dashboards to support operational decision-making
- Exposure to geographic or spatial data, with
the ability to apply location-based insights to improve routing and regional
performance
- Proven analytical capability, with the ability
to interpret data, identify issues, and recommend practical solutions
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to
operational teams and stakeholders who are not data-focused
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail,
while maintaining awareness of overall business impact
