About Sculptform

At Sculptform, we are redefining architectural design through innovative wall, ceiling, and façade systems used on some of the world’s most impressive projects around the world.

With operations across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA, our mission is clear — to become the trusted design partner to the world’s top 10 architecture firms.

Driven by our philosophy of “beautiful designs made buildable,” we combine exceptional design, technical expertise, and manufacturing capability to help bring ambitious architectural visions to life.

As our New Zealand presence continues to grow, we are looking for a highly driven and ambitious Architectural Project Consultant to join our team in Whanganui, New Zealand

Position Overview

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and simply manage inbound work.

We are looking for someone hungry to build relationships, drive opportunities forward, win projects, and continuously improve. Someone who thrives on momentum, takes ownership, follows through, and genuinely enjoys the challenge of winning work in a fast-paced architectural environment.

Working closely with architects, builders, installers, and internal teams, you will proactively manage project opportunities from early specification through to tendering and final sale conversion.

Success in this role comes from persistence, initiative, strong commercial awareness, and a genuine desire to be part of a high-performing global team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and grow an assigned portfolio of architectural projects across New Zealand
  • Build strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and installers
  • Drive project opportunities forward through consistent follow-up and stakeholder engagement
  • Identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities early and take action quickly
  • Track projects through specification, tendering, and sales conversion stages
  • Maintain high daily activity levels aligned with our sales process and KPIs
  • Develop strong technical knowledge of Sculptform products and design solutions
  • Accurately record project activity and customer interactions within CRM systems
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Estimating, and Design teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
  • Continually look for ways to improve performance, processes, and results

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with strong internal drive and a genuine hunger to succeed.

You may come from architecture, construction, building products, interiors, estimating, or project coordination — but attitude and work ethic are just as important as experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and strong sense of ownership
  • High energy and a desire to continuously improve and achieve results
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • The confidence to engage with multiple stakeholders across complex projects
  • Excellent organisation and follow-through
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A competitive mindset and desire to win as part of a team
  • Understanding of architectural drawings and construction methodologies
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot is highly regarded
