Description

Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our warehouse. If you have forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in accuracy and teamwork, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming stock.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock control, and cycle counting.
  • Ensure products are correctly labelled, packaged, and prepared for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and other departments to meet operational targets.
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with general warehouse activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current forklift licences including Reach, Counterbalance, and F Endorsement.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
  • Understanding of inventory control processes.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Reliability, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25kg and remain on your feet for extended periods.
