Senior Solicitor / Associate – Litigation

Build a genuinely varied litigation practice, covering commercial, property, contractual and employment disputes, plus trust and estate matters, with the mentoring and court exposure to grow your advocacy, at one of Hawke’s Bay’s most respected firms.

The Opportunity 

• Civil litigation and dispute resolution 
• Commercial, property and contractual disputes 
• Employment law matters 
• Trust and estate disputes, depending on your experience and interests 
• Court, tribunal, negotiation and mediation work, with support from experienced practitioners 

 About You 

• 5+ years’ PQE in litigation, dispute resolution or employment law, ideally gained in a New Zealand private practice environment 
• Strong drafting, analytical and client communication skills 
• Sound judgement, attention to detail and confidence managing files 
• A practical, calm and client-focused approach to resolving disputes 
• The ability to contribute to practice development
