Description

  • Oversee and support the Auckland Warehouse and Customer Service departments to implement effective processes and ensure efficient operations that meet customer and business requirements.
  • In Co-operation with respective departments, conduct regular performance reviews, set goals & objectives and contribute to associate and team development.
  • Execute strategies that align to the organisational objectives to improve warehouse operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work with AU Sales Director and GM Texstyle to initiate and implement NZ Sales Strategy.
  • Liaise with Materials & Planning department on inventory valuations and strategies, to maintain the financial health of the business’s Inventory.
  • Liaise with Material & Planning department to drive demand forecasting process and forecast accuracy improvement.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments in AU, such as customer service, purchasing, quality and production to fulfill orders and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Finance Manager to reconcile payments, assist with general accounts payable/receivable queries, and assist in monthly and year end close processes, and other Finance activities as requested.
  • Assist Payroll in conjunction with Finance and HR teams.
  • Support the annual Sales and Expenses budget process.
  • Responsible for Mid-month and Month-end Sales reporting and commentary on performance.
  • Work with AU Marketing team to execute ANZ annual marketing plan.
  • Work with Product Management to provide regional perspectives and insights into all relevant product development and product launch projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with direct local vendors, including carriers, suppliers, and service providers and negotiate contracts and agreements to optimise cost and service.
  • Manage OPEX and CAPEX for the NZ branch, in collaboration with the AU Operations Director.
  • Represent company as Transitional Facility Operator with Ministry of Primary Industries.
