We are seeking a knowledgeable Sommelier to enhance our dining experience with expert wine selections. This role involves curating wine lists, advising guests, and ensuring exceptional service. Join our team to share your passion for wine in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Curate and maintain an extensive wine list that complements the menu offerings.
  • Provide expert advice to guests on wine selections based on their preferences and meal choices.
  • Conduct wine tastings and training sessions for staff to enhance their knowledge and service skills.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of wines to maintain quality and integrity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering and purchasing of wines.
  • Stay updated on wine trends and new releases to continually enhance the wine programme.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

  • A recognised qualification in wine, such as WSET Level 2 or higher.
  • Previous experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and food pairings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Passion for wine and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
