In this role you’ll bring the REINZ brand to life through high-quality, engaging creative across digital and print. Working across campaigns, publications, events and digital channels, you’ll turn briefs and ideas into creative that looks great, communicates clearly and gets results. This is a hands-on role for a designer who enjoys variety, works at pace and is comfortable taking a brief from concept through to finished artwork.
What you’ll work across
- Creative for marketing and communications campaigns
- Digital, social and paid media design assets
- Key publications including the Monthly Property Report, In The Know and Annual Report
- Event creative, signage, presentations and promotional collateral
- Short-form video, motion graphics and digital content
- Infographics, charts and data visualisation
- Print collateral and production-ready artwork
- Brand templates and creative assets used across REINZ
- The role has genuine breadth, including publication design, campaign creative, social and digital assets, video, event collateral and production.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Turn briefs into engaging, on-brand creative across digital and print
- Develop campaign concepts and creative assets across multiple formats
- Design publications, reports, infographics, charts and other data-led content
- Create digital, social and paid media assets, including short-form video and motion content
- Produce event collateral, presentations, signage and promotional material
- Take creative work from initial concept through to finished artwork and production
- Maintain templates, brand assets and an organised creative library
- Manage multiple briefs and deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
About you
- You’ll be a talented and practical designer who enjoys getting things done. You can take a brief, ask the right questions and then get moving, without needing every detail mapped out for you.
- You’ll be comfortable working collaboratively with people across the business, asking the right questions, talking through ideas, taking feedback on board and turning sometimes-loose briefs into strong creative solutions.
You’ll bring
- 2+ years’ professional graphic design experience in an in-house, agency or studio environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital and print design
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong typography, layout and visual storytelling skills
- Experience designing publications, reports and print-ready artwork
- Experience creating digital, social and campaign assets
- Video editing, motion graphics or short-form content production capability
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to work at pace and manage multiple briefs
Experience working in a membership organisation, professional services or corporate environment would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
