Description

Supply Chain & Logistics Co-ordinator

Kēkerengū, Marlborough | Full Time

About Puro

Puro is growing something special in New Zealand — premium medicinal cannabis produced to the highest international standards.

Based in Marlborough, our operations combine world-class cultivation, advanced processing, and a deep respect for the land. We operate in a highly regulated, fast-evolving global market, supplying high-quality products to international partners.

Our culture is built on ARTISTS — Achievement, Respect, Teamwork, Integrity, Sustainability, Tenacity, and Safety — and we’re looking for people who thrive in that kind of environment.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Co-ordinator to take ownership of one of the most critical parts of our business — getting product from post-harvest through to customers, efficiently, compliantly, and reliably.

This role sits at the centre of operations, working across cultivation, processing, quality, and sales, while managing logistics partners and international shipments.

You’ll be responsible for building and running supply chain systems that can scale with the business — balancing compliance, cost, and performance in a highly regulated environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

End-to-End Supply Chain Management

You’ll develop, implement, and continuously refine supply chain operations across all product categories — from post-harvest processing through to final delivery.

This includes establishing resilient supply lines, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and building systems that can support a growing international business.

Planning, Production & Inventory

Working closely with cultivation and processing teams, you’ll align logistics with production schedules, forecasts, and inventory levels.

You’ll implement and manage inventory systems that ensure:

  • Accuracy and traceability
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Real-time visibility of stock and movements

Logistics & Distribution

You’ll manage all domestic and international logistics, including:

  • Warehousing and transport
  • Export shipments and final delivery
  • Temperature and condition-controlled shipping (including data loggers where required)

You’ll ensure all movements meet both Puro SOPs and customer-specific requirements.

Compliance & Documentation

Operating within the New Zealand Medicinal Cannabis Scheme and international frameworks, you’ll ensure:

  • Full compliance across all shipments
  • Accurate import/export documentation
  • Complete audit trails and record-keeping

You’ll also manage reporting requirements to the NZ Ministry of Health.

Supplier & Partner Management

You’ll build and manage relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers (3PLs), negotiating cost-effective and reliable solutions.

This includes ongoing performance management and ensuring partners meet compliance and service expectations.

Risk & Problem Solving

You’ll proactively identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies, while also troubleshooting:

  • Shipping issues
  • Delays or disruptions
  • Inventory discrepancies

Continuous Improvement

A key part of the role is improving how we operate — refining systems, introducing technology, and driving better ways of working across logistics and supply chain functions.

Health & Safety

You’ll actively support and promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring logistics operations and partner activities align with Puro’s standards.
