Production Manager – New Zealand Operations
ProTen is excited to be expanding our operations into New Zealand, and we are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to play a key role in this growth. Reporting across ProTen’s New Zealand operations, this role will be responsible for overseeing transition of existing new acquisitions to ProTen, integrating systems, processes and people, and delivering key projects,
supporting operational performance, and driving continuous improvement across our farms. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing, dynamic agribusiness. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is passionate about operational excellence and team leadership.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience in managing broiler farm operations, strong leadership and team development skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach to farm management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving operational excellence, a commitment to SHEQ standards, and the ability to promote a positive WHS culture. Physical fitness for farm duties is required, along with the right to work in Australia. A pre-employment functional assessment, including drug and alcohol testing, will be conducted.
