Ko wai mātou | About us
Pegasus Health supports many aspects of health and wellbeing across Canterbury. We work alongside general practices and community providers to deliver quality healthcare and proudly own and operate the 24 Hour Surgery.
The 24 Hour Surgery is a cornerstone of the Canterbury health system, providing urgent medical care to our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An exciting and meaningful opportunity exists to join the team behind this essential service and contribute to the care of thousands of Cantabrians each year. Working with our communities means being committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving equitable access and outcomes for Māori, Pacific, CALD, LGBTQI+ and other priority populations. Joining Pegasus Health means becoming part of a collaborative organisation where your work genuinely contributes to better patient care every day.
Ko tāu ake mahi | What you will be doing
This is not a typical administration role.
As part of the 24 Hour Surgery Operations Support Team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of Canterbury’s busiest urgent care service.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, produces consistently accurate work and takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and building positive working relationships across a busy organisation.
This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a service that supports our community around the clock.
