Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Trainee or qualified Phlebotomist to join our Patient Services Department on a 6-month fixed term basis!

In this role you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience, treating every individual with dignity, respect, and courtesy. You will be responsible for collecting samples from patients for medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic purposes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all procedures.

About you:

  • Compassionate and patient focused with a passion for providing high quality care to the community.
  • Registration with the Medical Sciences Council and a current Annual Practising Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician in Patient Services (desirable, but not essential)
  • A valid New Zealand full or restricted driver’s licence.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand required

Hours and location:

This part-time73 hours per fortnight fixed-term role involves working across the Taupo collection sites.

Rostered hours are between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with participation in the weekend roster (Saturday and Sunday morning shifts) as well as rostered public holidays.

Work hours may vary depending on the site, so flexibility is essential.
