Job Scope
This is an exciting opportunity to join Oyster as a Property
Manager, to lead our Wellington operations. You’ll be at the heart of keeping
our assets running smoothly, defining the key leasing strategies and supporting
our close-knit team of Property, Facility and Asset Managers based
nationally. You will play a key role in operational, administrative,
financial, and reporting tasks, helping ensure our buildings are well managed,
compliant, and deliver value for our investors and tenants.
In this hands-on role, you will be exposed to the full property and facilities
management lifecycle, from lease administration and data integrity through to
maintenance coordination, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. You will
prepare reports, investor communications, coordinate tenant-related activity,
and assist with strategic planning across the portfolio.
Your organisational strength, attention to detail, and proactive attitude will
make a visible impact. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that supports
your development and gives you opportunities to build industry knowledge,
broaden your technical skills, and grow into more senior roles within property
management.
Eligibility criteria.
We’re a tight, high-performing team, so attitude, self-driven, team fit, and
work ethic matter just as much as technical skills. We’re looking for someone
who is:
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and communicating clearly with
stakeholders at all levels
- A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Organised, with great administrative and operational abilities
- Practical, hands-on, and confident seeing tasks through to completion
- Keen to learn, develop, and take on more responsibility over time
- Can work autonomously and in teams, to deliver the business outcomes
A background in property/facilities management, commercial property, or project coordination is required. This is an intermediate-level position.
At Oyster, we place strong emphasis on our core competencies,
which are the foundation of our high-performing environment. These include
critical thinking, adaptability, emotional intelligence, effective
communication, impactful collaboration, digital proficiency, and strong
financial acumen. We actively seek these qualities in our people, as they are
essential to driving our success and shaping a high-performing, future-ready
team
