We have an opportunity for someone passionate about vocational education and training and changing people’s lives.
We are in search of a new part-time Programme Manager to cover one of our staff members, who is currently moving into the part-time capacity with us.
This new role is also part-time at 0.8 / 32 hours per week working on-site at our Greenlane Campus.
Programme Managers oversee the delivery and coordinate the logistics for our literacy and numeracy work-based training programmes. We have programmes running across Auckland, Waikato, BOP, Wellington and Canterbury regions.
About the Role
Based on-site in our Auckland office in and the working hours are generally Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm but flexible working hours are available. The start date is ideally as soon as possible but we are willing to wait for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day organising of our TEC-funded WLN (Workplace Literacy and Numeracy) and ILN (Intensive Literacy and Numeracy) Training Programmes.
You will need to think on your feet, enjoy working in a fast-paced role and enjoy being part of an awesome close-knit team.
Your skills and experience
- Adult teaching and education qualifications are essential.
- Experience or knowledge of the New Zealand frameworks for Literacy and Numeracy for Adults (NCALNE qualification and LNAAT experience preferred)
- Experience with workplace-based training
- An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and learning approaches that meet the needs of Māori and Pasifika
- Experience and knowledge of NZQA systems and processes
- The ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong IT Skills – Microsoft Office Suite. Sharepoint, CRM, SMS (Selma)
- High level written and oral communication skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks so that deadlines are met and projects are managed effectively.
- The ability to travel nationwide when required – clean full NZ Drivers Licence
