Mō tēnei tūranga mahi / The Opportunity:

This entry level / junior full-time permanent position will see you being responsible for handling student queries, covering reception, office management and supporting with pastoral care for our students and specifically our rangatahi  at our Hamilton campus.  

You will be the go-to person for our learners and assist them with advise, support and guidance across education, their personal and professional arena!

 

This role will suit someone that has previously worked closely with youth within education or similar or in a customer facing role. You are not afraid to step-up, go the extra mile and possess a can-do attitude. To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the voice for our learners
  • Assist with student queries from fee, enrolments to any other non- academic matters
  • Facilitate orientation and introducing support services
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve any academic issues
  • Coordinate graduation and events at the Hamilton campus
  • Support our Domestic Recruitment team with sales and enquiries
  • Complete day to day office tasks – ordering stationery and office supplies, covering reception and being part of our H&S committee

You are a natural people’s person and enjoy the thrill of supporting students!

  • Experience in student support or similar within a PTE or educational institute in New Zealand – this role will see you support our domestic students predominately  
  • Possess a Tertiary Qualification  
  • Excellent command of the English and Te Reo – both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and cultural awareness with a genuine passion for helping students succeed
  • A collaborative and mature approach – and a sense of fun!
  • Knowledge of New Zealand tertiary education
  • Tech savvy – Microsoft Teams, Selma, Zoho CRM, Canvas
  • Clean Full NZ Driver’s License: This role will see you travel across campuses (non- negotiable)
