About the role 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Registry Administrator to join our Professional Standards team in Wellington. 

In this role, you will support the delivery of key regulatory functions by assisting with applications relating to practising on own account and certificates of character. You will be responsible for reviewing applications, maintaining accurate records, responding to queries from a range of stakeholders, and providing administrative support to the Registry team. 

This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. 

Our ideal applicant will have: 

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally in a regulatory or professional services environment 
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and working with databases 
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders 
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team 
  • The ability to adapt to changing workloads and support others when required
