About the role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Product & Partnerships Manager to lead the growth and delivery of our webinar-based learning programme. This is a high impact role where you’ll sit at the intersection of product development, business development, and industry engagement, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of our webinar and seminar portfolio and building strong relationships.
You’ll be responsible for sourcing, prospecting, and onboarding high-calibre presenters, while building a network of trusted partners across the legal and professional services community. With your finger on the pulse of legislative change, case law developments, and emerging trends, you’ll ensure our education offering is always timely, relevant, and commercially successful.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and grow the webinar product portfolio – from concept through to handover for delivery.
- Source and secure expert presenters – through targeted prospecting and relationship building
- Build and manage strategic partnerships – across the legal and professional services ecosystem
- Stay ahead of industry change – tracking legislation, case law, and regulatory developments to inform product strategy
- Translate market insight into product – identifying emerging learning needs and turning them into compelling, revenue-generating programmes
- Be the face of the programme – engaging with stakeholders and representing the brand in market
- Continuously refine and improve the quality, positioning, and performance of the offering
About you
- Experience within the legal sector or a professional services environment
- Background in business development, client growth and acquisition, and product development
- Proven ability to drive results and deliver against KPIs
- Strong relationship management experience
- A natural networker who is confident engaging senior stakeholders
- Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities and build products that sell
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
- Curious and informed – you will need to stay across industry trends, legislative updates, and market shifts

The Law Society regulates all lawyers practising in New Zealand and is the membership organisation for practising lawyers. With 13 branches throughout the country, the Law Society is the Kaitiaki (guardian) of the practice of law in Aotearoa New Zealand and the consumers of legal services.
