Reporting to our National Branch Manager, this Branch Manager will lead and manage the Representative activities for the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, and Hawkes Bay regions.
The work is fast-paced and varied with an extremely supportive cohort around you. This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. We would expect you to work in the office at least four days a week, with the opportunity to work one day from home.
Candidates will have an advantage if they have experience working with the legal profession and/or in a member organisation.
Our ideal applicant will have:
- A background in any of the following fields would prove advantageous; Law, Membership Associations, Events Management, or Marketing
- An understanding and appreciation of the legal profession and services lawyers provide
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to network, attend and host events
- A high level of communication skills (oral and written) with proven ability to speak with confidence in public
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of work

About the Law Society
The New Zealand Law Society Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa is the professional body for barristers and solicitors in New Zealand. The Law Society regulates all lawyers practising in New Zealand and is the membership organisation for practising lawyers. With 13 branches throughout the country, the Law Society is the Kaitiaki (guardian) of the practice of law in Aotearoa New Zealand and the consumers of legal services.
