Fine Tours Group (FTG) is a technology-enabled travel business operating a portfolio of Australia and New Zealand travel brands. We plan and deliver trips end to end for travellers and travel advisors, curating bespoke journeys, building multi-stop itineraries, managing bookings, and supporting customers from planning through to travel.
FTG is in a growth phase as we expand our reach across New Zealand and Australia. For customers and partners, that means making it easier for more people to experience these destinations through trips that are carefully curated and consistently delivered. What does the role look like?
- Building long-term relationships with leisure clients and agents
- Creating tailor-made, once in a lifetime holidays in New Zealand and Australia
- Managing bookings, changes, documentation and policies
- A fast-paced role with a consistent, high quality lead pipeline, allowing you to maximise your earning potential immediately.
This is a full time, 40 hours per week permanent role based in Wanaka. Please note that weekend and public holiday work is required (rostered hours 6am-6pm Monday to Sunday).
Remuneration
- Uncapped earning potential!
- Base salary of $60,000 – $75,000 (depending on experience) plus uncapped commission. Expect total earnings of $80,000 – $115,000 per year as you smash your targets!
What we’re looking for
- Experience in travel consulting with strong preference given to inbound travel to NZ and Australia.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of New Zealand travel experiences and opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with international clients.
- Confident communicating with clients over the phone, video call and email.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and follow through.
- Confident managing high-value bookings and complex itineraries.
- A genuine passion for travel and creating memorable experiences.
- Resilient and adaptable with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Second language proficiency an asset.
