Description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join a boutique luxury hotel known for its energy, style, and exceptional guest experiences. Based in the heart of Wellington’s entertainment precinct, Naumi Hotels Wellington is seeking a confident, hands-on leader to oversee all Food & Beverage operations, including our signature cocktail bar and restaurant, Lola Rouge.

Naumi Hotels is an award-winning luxury boutique hotel group, and we are looking for a dynamic leader who is commercially savvy, detail-focused, and passionate about creating memorable guest moments.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a passionate team to deliver outstanding service standards, elevate guest experiences, and drive operational excellence. This is a key leadership role for a driven operator who thrives in fast-paced, high-energy hospitality environments.

Key responsibilities…

  • Leading the Food and Beverage department to deliver exemplary guest experiences
  • Motivating and guiding your teams to greatness, ensuring optimized productivity, efficiency, high-quality service through coaching, mentoring, and inspirational leadership
  • Creating an environment for your teams where the team can consistently develop & grow
  • Managing Food and Beverage budget to maintain costs and expenses
  • Identify areas of opportunity, and continuously search for value-add initiatives
  • Work alongside all F&B team members as a Naumi representative, and demonstrate the hotel’s aspiration to deliver friendly and personable service
  • Ensure all compliance activities are managed in a timely manager, such as maintaining proper licensing, hygiene, health and safety, and any other requirements
  • Undertake regular reporting and analysis as requested by GM and Directors

Ideally you will have …

  • 4+ years of experience in service delivery of fine-dining/5-star restaurants or hotel restaurants and bars.
  • 5+ years experience managing a team in a hospitality/restaurant environment.
  • Originality, innovation, and growth mindset.
  • Knowledge of food and drinks is highly advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for presentation.
  • Excellent time management and work prioritization skills.
  • LCQ License & GM Certificate are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Positive attitude, inspiring leadership style, and a passion for customer service
