Harvest Technician

Do you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a hard-working team, and don’t mind getting a bit wet? Join the Harvest team at Mount Cook Alpine Salmon! Our fish are growing fast, and so are we. We’re looking for a motivated Harvest Technician to help us deliver world‑class Freshwater King Salmon.

About the job

You will support the harvest operations of our salmon and assist with fish movements across our five farms in the Twizel area, while maintaining the fish quality. It is a practical, physical role with a focus on the highest standards of fish welfare.

We deliver sustainably farmed, premium-quality Freshwater King Salmon to customers in New Zealand and around the world. Our product is extraordinary and rare: we are the only company that exports Freshwater King Salmon. Our team of over 200 are spread across the South Island at our farms in Twizel, our processing plant in Timaru, our smokehouse in Christchurch and our corporate office in Queenstown.

• Full NZ driver’s license (class 2 or 4 and forklift are preferred)
