Harvest Supervisor

About the job 

You will assist the Manager with the day-to-day coordination of harvest operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high fish quality, adherence to fish welfare standards, compliance with health and safety requirements, and effective supervision and support of the team.

We deliver sustainably farmed, premium-quality Freshwater King Salmon to customers in New Zealand and around the world. Our product is extraordinary and rare: we are the only company that exports Freshwater King Salmon. Our team of over 200 are spread across the South Island at our farms in Twizel, our processing plant in Timaru, our smokehouse in Christchurch and our corporate office in Queenstown.

What you’ll bring

• The right to work in NZ
• At least five years’ experience in aquaculture, including harvesting
• Aquaculture qualification is a bonus but not essential 
• A full NZ driver’s license (class 1) 
• F endorsement and Class 4 are a bonus but not essential
• Physical fitness (lifting up to 25 kgs is a part of the job)
