Description

Technical Sales & Customer Support Lead

We supply premium, custom-built louvre kitsets to homeowners and trade partners across New Zealand.

Our product is strong. Our systems are improving. Now we need the right person to own the customer experience and help us scale.

This is a phone-heavy role where you’ll manage enquiries, guide customers, and help convert interest into real orders.

About the Role

This is not a retail job or a passive support role.

You’ll be speaking with customers daily — understanding what they need, guiding them through options, and helping them move forward with confidence.

You’ll work closely with the owner and team in a small, fast-moving environment where initiative matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls (no cold calling)
  • Responding to email and online enquiries
  • Guiding customers through product options, layouts, and next steps
  • Following up enquiries and keeping deals moving
  • Supporting trade partners and repeat customers
  • Owning the customer journey from first contact through to order

What We’re Looking For

  • Very Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Confident on the phone — you enjoy talking to people and building rapport
  • Strong sense of prioritisation and time management – you know what needs attention now vs later
  • Able to listen, understand, and guide — not just respond
  • Proactive and organised — you follow things up without being asked
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment
  • Positive attitude and solutions-focused mindset

Bonus (not essential):

  • Background in building, construction, landscaping, or similar
  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles
