Landpro Limited is seeking a New Zealand based professional with a Bachelor of Surveying or Civil Engineering Degree, who has a strong interest and proven capability in Land Development Engineering to join our growing team In Central Otago. The role is ideal for a motivated NZ based professional who holds a Certified Professional Land Development Engineer (CPLDE) or actively working towards this qualification.

You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surveying services to a diverse range of clients across the region. You will be involved in a wide range of land development projects, contributing both survey and engineering expertise from concept through to construction. The role offers a balance of technical design, project coordination, and collaboration with clients, councils and multidisciplinary teams.

We work across a wide range of environmental services and cover all aspects of Land Development and and Aerial Surveying, Planning, Environmental Science, Farm Environmental and Geospatial consulting.

What you’ll be doing

Land development design including earthworks, roading, stormwater, wastewater, and water supply

Preparation of engineering drawings, reports, and documentation for council approvals

Preparation of tender documentation for construction projects

Integration of surveying data into land development engineering solutions

Liaison with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities

Supporting projects through detailed design, consenting, and construction phases

Managing your own portfolio of jobs, networks, and client relationships

Full support from local team and our National Survey Manager

What we’re looking for

You are client-focused and thrive as a collaborative team player, with excellent communication and project management skills.

A qualified Civil Engineer or hold a surveying qualification from a recognised New Zealand institution

Strong interest and demonstrated capability in Land Development Engineering

S+SNZ CP Land Development Engineer (or actively working towards certification)

Sound knowledge of NZ standards, council requirements, and land development processes

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

You shine in civil design, from surfaces and roading to three waters infrastructure, you enjoy tackling complex challenges.

You are a natural connector, at ease building relationships with clients, councils, contractors, and your planning colleagues.

You love the outdoors, from mountains to lakes, you don’t just enjoy landscapes ; you help shape them
