Description

Kinross is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Wine Customer Service Manager to lead our wine customer experience through sales and wine club members. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your sales skills, customer service expertise, wine knowledge, and leadership skills in one of Central Otago’s most iconic wine destinations.

As Wine Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences across all wine-related customer touchpoints, including wine sales, wine club membership, online customer enquiries, and post-purchase service. You will lead and inspire a team that embodies the Kinross brand while driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and sales performance.

Location: Gibbston, Kinross

Role Type: Permanent, 30 hours per week

Salary: $87k – $87.4k (prorated)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and train the wine sales team.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and coaching of wine team
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences across all wine touch points, phone, email, and online channels.
  • Manage wine club and customer membership programmes.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support wine sales targets and customer retention initiatives.
  • Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Bistro, and Sales managers to deliver seamless customer journeys.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

  • WSET 2 Qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a front facing sales based role
  • Excellent sales skills and ability to connect with people
  • Knowledge of Central Otago wines and wine tourism
  • Leadership mindset and experience in hospitality, tourism, or wine environment.
