Are you an experienced with direct to customer sales leader with a passion for wine, and driving sales growth? Kinross is looking for a Sales Manager for our wine offerings to lead and evolve our wine sales across our Cellar Door, and Wine Store.

Role Location: Gibbston

Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

OTE $140,000

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and develop a highly skilled wine sales team across Cellar Door and Wine Store.
  • Implement wine sales initiatives that increase conversion, customer retention, and lifetime value across all touchpoints.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire your team to consistently deliver world-class guest experiences and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the GM of Wine to refine product mix, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise profitability.
  • Build a high-performing culture, with regular training, performance management, and a strong focus on team engagement and delivery of exceptional customer experience.
  • Monitor, report, and improve sales performance, ensuring all financial targets, such as budget, and KPI’s, are met.

Key Qualities and Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in direct-to-consumer sales experience.
  • Experience in driving high performing sales teams.
  • A strong track record of driving revenue growth across multiple sales channels.
  • A natural passion for wine and hospitality, with the ability to inspire both team and guests.
  • Exceptional motivational coaching, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
  • Flexibility to support business needs, including weekends or peak trading periods.
