Job title: Director of IT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of IT to oversee all aspects of our IT department in New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, managing the IT team, and ensuring that our technology systems are efficient and effective.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement strategic plans for the IT department

– Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT team

– Oversee all technology systems, including hardware, software, networks, etc.

– Ensure that all technology systems are secure and compliant with regulations

– Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs

– Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the organization

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

– Minimum 5 years of experience in an associate-level role within an IT department

– Proven track record of successful leadership within an IT environment

– Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, CISSP) is a plus
