Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher / Kaiako – Hamilton Central

We are seeking two full-time registered ECE teachers to join our professional and supportive team. Located in central Hamilton, our centre offers a modern, well-equipped learning environment designed to support high-quality teaching and rich learning experiences for Tamariki.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver intentional, engaging learning programmes aligned with Tapasā and Te Whāriki
  • Observe, assess, and respond to children’s learning and development
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with Tamariki and their whānau
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and professional team environment
  • Maintain high standards of care, education, and compliance

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking Kaiako who are caring and committed to making a difference in the lives of young learners and their families.

To be considered you will:

  • Current New Zealand ECE teacher registration and recognised qualification
  • A strong understanding of Te Whāriki and quality teaching practice
  • Passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for young children
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional growth
  • Ability to meet police vetting and safety checking requirements
