We’re looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. If you thrive on creating memorable guest experiences, enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and want to be part of a supportive, fun team – we’d love to hear from you.
What will my day look like as a Food & Beverage Attendant?
- Deliver exceptional service across the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas
- Manage guest queries and feedback genuinely and professionally while you are building a rapport with guests – our style of service is professional but friendly
- Be comfortable with a la carte menus and taking orders
- Explain menu dishes to guests and provide recommendations for dishes/drinks
- Build strong relationships and liaise with all other department’s especially kitchen
- Allocate tables to expected arrivals after checking the guests’ preferences and special requests
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency
What we are looking for
In your new role, you will be working on behalf of our guests and working with other team members. To be successful in this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- A minimum of 1 year relevant work experience or either of the following: NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification or AQF Certificate II or III.
- A genuine passion for contributing to and enhancing dining guest experiences
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
- A minimum of six months of experience working in the food and beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, events management, bar service
- Well-presented, organized, and calm personality
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Fluent English essential, additional languages an advantage
