We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team. In this position you will play a pivotal role in delivering and refined and memorable dining experience. You will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that reflect the restaurant’s culinary vision. offering.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support kitchen operations by assisting across various sections as required
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen flow
  • Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard, both in taste and appearance
  • Executing your station efficiently and maintaining quality control at every stage
  • Collaborating with service teams to ensure timely, accurate, and coordinated food delivery
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised station in accordance with hygiene protocols
  • Continuously improving food preparation methods through feedback and innovation
  • Responding attentively and accurately to special dietary needs and preferences
  • Monitor section inventory and support ordering processes to reduce waste and maintain efficiency
  • Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment safely, reporting any faults or concerns
  • Uphold strict adherence to HACCP standards and internal food safety policies
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of hygiene, health, and food safety regulations
  • Consistently apply safe work practices to ensure the well being of self and team members

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in cookery, culinary arts, or hospitality – preferred but not mandatory
  • Current Food Safety Certification – desirable
  • A minimum 1 year of experience working in a commercial kitchen, fine dining, hotel and/or events spaces
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Refined taste and attention to visual presentation
  • Resilience to perform under pressure in hot and demanding kitchen conditions
  • Fluent English essential
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and special events
  • Excellent time management and mise en place discipline
  • Excellent knowledge of best practice health & safety standards
  • Professional, team-oriented mindset with a proactive work ethic
