You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and find joy in finding solutions and helping others. You are an empathetic, innovative thinker with a good understanding of culturally appropriate delivery of social services. You have strong professional and personal ethics and demonstrated working experience in managing a portfolio of tenancies in the public or private sector.
What you will need for this role:
- Tertiary qualification in Property Management or Level 4 Certificate in Residential Property Management with the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand
- Extensive knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and other acts and regulations relevant to Property Management
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong commitment to compliance, quality, and risk management
- Proficiency in using property management software (Palace)
- Possess a compassionate and caring attitude and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing challenges such as homelessness
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
