Maintenance Assistant Role – Seasonal Fixed Term

$30 to $32 per hour – 24hrs per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform routine greasing and maintenance of machinery within the WYMA and Grading Rooms
• Sharpen and rebuild knife sets for dicers to maintain performance and efficiency
• Follow workplace safety practices, including hazard and incident reporting, safe work procedures, and participation in emergency evacuations

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven mechanical fitting experience
• Excellent fabrication and machining skills
• Knowledge of maintenance & engineering principles
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Organisation & time management skill
• Able to work unsupervised
• Food manufacturing industry knowledge is a bonus – but not essential!
