The Role

We are looking for a skilled Drainlayer, who is experienced in all civil urban infrastructure components (roading, footpaths and streetscapes), and confident in water reticulation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Getting stuck in – working with three waters.
• Installing and maintaining stormwater, wastewater, and drinking water.
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Ensuring all work meets NZ building codes and council requirements.
• Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver project outcomes.
• Provide clear communication, mentoring and leadership to the team.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met and actively promoting a safe work culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Physically fit with civil construction industry experience as a foreman.
• Current NZ Drainlayer Licence (Registered or Certified)
• Minimum 3 years Civil Infrastructure NZ work experience
• Full Class 2 drivers licence and RTW is preferred
• An excellent work attitude – we’re looking for positive, hardworking and reliable people to join our collaborative teams.
• Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
• Collaborative and Solutions-Focused Attitude – Someone who adds value and takes ownership of projects.
