IT & Compliance Manager (Part-time, 32 hrs/week) Auckland, NZ | Permanent

JAVLN is on a mission to become the world’s #1 platform for insurance intermediaries. We are looking for a sharp, autonomous IT & Compliance Manager to join our team and ensure our internal “engine” is secure, compliant, and ready to scale across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

The Role This is a high-impact, part-time role reporting directly to the CFO. You will be the sole-charge owner of our internal IT environment and the lead architect of our security and compliance frameworks.

• Lead Compliance: Take full ownership of our SoC2 leadership, managing audits, evidence collection, and vendor risk to ensure we meet global security standards.
• Empower the Team: Provide top-tier internal support and manage our Google Workspace environment, ensuring technology is a seamless enabler for our staff.
• Scale with AI: Partner with our Head of Data and AI to safely adopt internal AI tools, navigating the technological change curve while keeping an eye on cost and efficiency.
• Drive Resilience: Manage our internal hardware lifecycle and maintain robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans to ensure organisational resilience.

About You You are a seasoned IT professional who thrives in the autonomous environment of a tech scale-up.

• You have 7+ years of experience in internal IT roles, with a proven track record in SaaS or fast-paced tech environments.
• You are a Compliance Expert, with direct experience leading SoC2 audits and a deep understanding of information security frameworks.
• You are a Google Workspace Pro, experienced in modern MDM solutions and securing hybrid workforces.
• You have a Strategic Mindset, capable of managing an IT budget and optimising SaaS spend to ensure we grow sustainably.
• You hold high standards and believe that internal security and operational simplicity are the foundations of a world-class business.
