Jani-King New Zealand is looking for a Client Care Coordinator to join our Christchurch Head Office team. This is a varied, client-focused role supporting our client care processes, client portal adoption, case management, and communication between clients, franchisees and internal teams.

This role would suit someone who is organised, professional, calm under pressure, and confident making outgoing calls to clients. You will play an important part in helping clients feel supported, ensuring issues are followed through properly, and encouraging clients to confidently use our client portal.

About the role

Reporting to the National Administration & Client Care Manager, you will help deliver a consistent and professional client experience across Jani-King.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Helping clients access and understand portal features, including service information, cleaning schedules and communication tools
  • Making proactive outgoing calls to clients to promote and support use of the client portal
  • Responding to client enquiries, service requests and complaints in a professional and timely way
  • Creating, triaging and assigning client cases to the appropriate internal team members
  • Monitoring case progress to ensure matters are followed up and resolved within agreed timeframes
  • Supporting new client onboarding, including client records, contracts, schedules and portal access
  • Maintaining accurate client, case and communication records across our systems
  • Reviewing NZBN alerts and escalating business changes where required

About you

You will be someone who enjoys structure, communication and follow-through. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be comfortable learning systems, speaking with clients, and taking ownership of your work.

  • A professional, calm and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Confidence using digital systems, workflow tools or client management systems

  • Resilience when dealing with complaints or difficult conversations

Experience in client care, customer service, administration, coordination, call centre, service support or case management would be helpful.
