Description

Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager on a fixed-term contract basis to support our consultancy team in Christchurch, New Zealand. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, assisting in planning, execution, and monitoring activities. The ideal candidate will possess intermediate experience in project management and a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, contributing to the overall success of our consultancy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to gather project requirements and updates.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
  • Support the project manager in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and clients to ensure alignment on objectives.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and meeting notes.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of project issues and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Intermediate experience in project management or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
