We’re looking for a Principal AI Software Engineer to help lead that journey.This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing engineering direction, and helping others succeed. You’ll combine deep technical expertise with curiosity, pragmatism, and a passion for continuous improvement to help shape both our platform and the way we build it.
You’ll work across Product, Engineering, and Professional Services, connecting ideas, solving problems, and ensuring we’re delivering technology that creates real value for our customers.
What you’ll do
As a Principal Engineer, you’ll be one of our most senior technical contributors. You’ll lead through expertise and influence, helping teams make good technical decisions while remaining hands-on
in software development. You’ll:
- Design and build scalable, secure, and maintainable software for our Infusion SaaS platform.
- Lead the technical design of complex features and shared platform capabilities.
- Help define engineering standards and influence the long-term technical direction of our products.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality while applying sound engineering judgement.
- Mentor engineers and help grow technical capability across the business.
- Work closely with Product, Professional Services, and Customer-facing teams to solve real customer problems.
- Drive improvements in engineering practices, automation, tooling, and developer experience.
- Champion clean architecture, quality, performance, and maintainability.
What you’ll bring
We’re interested in experienced engineers who enjoy learning, sharing knowledge, and making those around them better. You’ll likely have:
- Extensive experience building commercial SaaS products.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and modern application development.
- Experience designing scalable cloud-based systems.
- A passion for writing high-quality, maintainable software.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly AI, and the judgement to apply them where they add genuine value.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Most importantly, you’ll enjoy solving difficult problems, simplifying complexity, and helping engineering teams do their best work.
