About the Organisation

He Waka Tapu is a Kaupapa Māori organisation who have been supporting individuals and the community for over 30years. He Waka Tapu works to increase the health and wellbeing of Whānau and communities.

About the role

This position supports He Waka Tapu by managing, analysing, and improving the use of the Client Management System (CMS) to ensure high-quality data, effective reporting, and informed decision-making across services.

Working in the IT team, this role helps to ensure reliable information, improving outcomes for whānau and strengthening operational efficiency.

Skills and experience

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office products
  • 2-5 years’ experience in data analyst, reporting, systems support or business intelligence role
  • Experience working with databases, reporting systems or client management systems
  • Experience producing operational and/or strategic reports
  • Demonstrated experience supporting users with systems functionality
  • Understanding of Te Ao Māori and/or Te Reo Māori
  • Strong technical proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • A high-level of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop
