We are committed to creating vibrant, community-focused environments where people can live well and explore their own backyard.

Our success is built on shared values that guide how we work every day: Respect, Accountability, Collaboration, Innovation, Quality, and Customer Focus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Revenue Management is Hampshire Property Group’s most senior specialist leader for Revenue Management and Distribution across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll lead the strategy, systems, standards and specialist teams responsible for pricing, forecasting, inventory optimisation, distribution and digital partner performance across our portfolio.

This is an enterprise leadership role focused on maximising profitable revenue and long-term asset performance. You’ll build a modern, scalable Revenue and Distribution capability supported by high-quality data, advanced analytics, AI and automation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead HPG’s enterprise Revenue Management and Distribution strategies across all properties, brands and business units.
  • Establish portfolio-wide pricing, inventory, demand management, business-mix and distribution strategies.
  • Drive performance across occupancy, average rate, RevPAR, total revenue, channel profitability and relevant long-stay measures.
  • Lead portfolio performance reviews and establish clear actions for underperforming assets and material revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee short, medium and long-range forecasting and lead the function’s contribution to budgeting and commercial planning.
  • Optimise direct and indirect channel mix, cost of acquisition, availability, rate integrity and distribution performance.
  • Lead strategic relationships, joint business planning and commercial negotiations with key distribution and digital partners.
  • Act as the senior business owner for IDeaS RMS, SynXis CRS, RMS Cloud PMS and supporting Revenue and Distribution platforms.
  • Use Power BI, advanced analytics, AI and automation to strengthen forecasting, pricing and commercial decision-making.
  • Identify revenue leakage, performance gaps and portfolio opportunities across short-stay, extended-stay and long-stay accommodation.
  • Lead revenue strategy for acquisitions, developments, openings, refurbishments, transitions and portfolio integration.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Technology and the Customer Experience Centre to turn commercial insight into action.
  • Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed Revenue and Distribution team.
  • Establish clear governance, operating rhythms, performance measures and succession plans across the function.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 10 to 15 years of progressive Revenue Management and Distribution experience within a complex multi-property or multi-brand environment.
  • Significant senior corporate or regional leadership experience, ideally at VP Revenue, Revenue Strategy or equivalent level.
  • Experience across short-stay and long-stay accommodation models, including hotels, resorts, serviced accommodation, holiday parks or comparable businesses.
  • Deep expertise in pricing, forecasting, inventory optimisation, demand management, segmentation, business mix and distribution economics.
  • A proven track record of improving portfolio revenue performance and profitability.
  • Senior-level experience with IDeaS RMS and SynXis CRS, along with strong working knowledge of RMS Cloud PMS.
  • Experience using Power BI or comparable tools to deliver portfolio insight and executive reporting.
  • Strong commercial, financial and analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex information into clear decisions.
  • Experience leading transformation, technology adoption, governance improvement and organisational change.
  • Demonstrated success building and developing geographically dispersed specialist teams.
  • Strong executive influence and the confidence to challenge assumptions and shape enterprise decisions.
  • The right to work in Australia or New Zealand.

Desirable experience or exposure includes:

  • Experience within a leading global hospitality, accommodation, travel or leisure organisation.
  • Experience operating across both Australian and New Zealand markets.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, new property openings, portfolio growth or operating-model transformation.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Hospitality, Revenue Management or a related discipline.
