Administrative Team Lead (Parental Leave Cover)
Fixed-Term Full-Time Role | East Tamaki | 40 Hours per Week
The Role
This fixed-term parental leave cover position is initially for six months, with the potential to extend, depending on the return date of the employee on leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and leadership experience who is passionate about delivering efficient, high-quality support services across our Housing Adequacy programmes.
The Administrative Team Lead provides leadership, support, and guidance to the administration team, ensuring efficient, consistent, and uninterrupted workflows across the Healthy Homes Programme, Home Repair Programme, commercial contracts, and building maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing referrals and programme administration processes
- Overseeing the shared team inbox
- Supporting accurate data entry, reporting, and record management
- Training, coaching, and supporting administrative staff
- Monitoring workload allocation and service delivery standards
- Ensuring whānau and aiga receive timely information and support throughout their engagement with our services
Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
You will bring:
- Proven senior administration experience
- Demonstrated people leadership or team coordination experience
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence using databases, systems, and reporting tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative and supportive approach to teamwork
- The ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
