We support people to buy, repair, or rent a place to call home. Our ReStore team raises vital funds to support our mission, and help shoppers, donors and volunteers connect with what we do.

The role

  • Lead and oversee the Te Rapa ReStore operations.
  • Shape a creative, welcoming and vibrant op shop.
  • Recruit, support, and inspire your team.
  • Drive sales and donations, deliver an amazing customer experience, and keep the store buzzing.

About you

  • 5+ years retail or logistics leadership on your CV.
  • Has led a team, understands how to motivate and inspire people, and basic HR practices.
  • Hands-on and practical, welcomes hard work.
  • Creative thinker, you love making spaces and experiences that wow customers.
  • Professional, approachable, great at building relationships.
  • Organised and detail-capable, can manage admin, budgets, and compliance.
  • Sales savvy – you know how to keep stock moving and maximise income.
  • Tech confident, Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems.
  • Health and safety knowledge.
  • Knowledge of charity retail is a bonus, but not required.

This is a 40-hour per week role, and weekend work may be required. Full and permanent legal right to work in New Zealand is required, as is a full, clean New Zealand Driver’s license.
