About the Role
Reporting to the Country Manager, NZ the key responsibility of the Sales & Logistics Specialist is to support sales and logistics operations for the NZ office by co-ordinating vehicle forecasting, order processing, inventory, and shipping coordination, while liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners. The role ensures accurate reporting and delivers responsive customer support to maintain efficient processes and timely vehicle delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain vehicle production forecasts and ordering schedules aligned with business sales objectives.
- Develop and maintain stock forecast based on historical and future sales targets.
- Manage order processing from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock availability aligns with customer and sales team needs.
- Track shipments and address any logistical challenges promptly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and product availability.
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand import/export regulations and company policies.
- Provide administrative support and assistance to the Regional Service Manager when requested.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration, supply chain management or logistics or similar discipline
- Previous experience in a logistics or similar coordination position
- Previous experience in the automotive industry
- Understanding of dealership sales operations
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
