The Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Project Manager to join our Project Delivery team to lead the successful delivery of complex engineering projects while also shaping delivery practices and contributing to our culture. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership and can confidently guide projects from concept through to completion while managing risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, fright first time and within budget
- Drive project planning and resource forecasting, ensuring work is well structured and appropriately resourced
- Take ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management
- Manage project risks and controls, including maintaining risk and decision registers and ensuring audit compliance
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and day-to-day guidance to junior project managers and team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery systems and processes
- Champion and role model Groundline’s values and culture
Experience
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in project management or a bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Experience in the electricity sector is preferred
- Understanding and experience in the design lifecycle and the application of project management
- The ability to autonomously work to deadlines, identify risk and raise concerns and challenges in a timely and appropriate manner
