About The Role
As the Performance and Capability Coach, you will enable
individuals and leaders to build the skills, confidence, and behaviours
required to perform at their best. Through coaching, facilitation, and
practical development support, you will work across individuals, teams, and
leaders to lift performance, strengthen capability, and support career growth.
You will identify capability gaps, shape targeted
development solutions, and partner with leaders to build high-performing,
accountable teams.
This role brings a strong AI-enabled performance lens,
supporting leaders and their teams to adopt AI tools in practical, safe, and
effective ways to enhance day-to-day performance.
Your day-to-day will look something like this:

AI-Enabled Performance Coaching – Drive performance uplift through 1:1 and team coaching, embedding practical and effective use of AI in day-to-day work.

Sales and Service Capability – Strengthen frontline sales and service performance
through targeted coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Leadership Development – Build leadership capability by developing
communication, coaching, and team performance skills, including leading through
change and AI adoption.

Career and Growth Development – Support individuals to have meaningful development
conversations and build future-ready skills aligned to business needs.

Capability Planning and Workforce Readiness – Identify capability gaps and future skill
requirements, contributing to capability frameworks and development planning.

Soft Skills and Behavioural Development – Design and deliver training that strengthens
communication, influence, collaboration, and customer engagement.

Learning and Capability Strategy – Contribute to learning strategy by aligning
development initiatives with business priorities and performance outcomes.

Performance Measurement and Impact – Define success metrics, track capability uplift,
and provide insights on performance outcomes and development effectiveness.
What Sets You Apart
We are looking for an exceptional performance
and capability professional with a strong background in coaching, facilitation,
and adult learning, supporting performance improvement in sales or
customer-facing environments.
You will bring proven ability to design and
deliver impactful leadership and behavioural development initiatives, along
with confidence in applying and coaching AI-enabled ways of working. Strong
digital capability, including experience with LMS and modern workplace tools,
is essential.
Skills and experience that will help you
succeed:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or an equivalent combination of knowledge and practical
capability, with 10+ years in a comparable or related role.
- Strong understanding of adult education and workplace learning.
- Strong background supporting performance improvement in sales, service or other
customer-facing environments.
- Proven ability to design and deliver innovative leadership and behavioural development initiatives.
- Sound capability in applying, or coaching others in, AI-enabled ways of working.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools and Office 365.
- Commercial acumen and a good understanding of the business environment in which Generate operates.
- Highly developed analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and surface emerging risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong customer-first mindset and sound problem-solving ability.
