Auger Truck Driver

On the road, back at the mill, and part of something that matters. We work alongside farmers and growers across the Waikato – and the way we see it, we’re only useful if we make their lives a bit easier. That means turning up when we say we will, looking after their product, and being the kind of people they’re happy to see pull into the yard.

We’re after a driver who gets that. Someone who doesn’t need to be told twice, takes pride in a job done properly, and is just as happy throwing bags at the mill as they are behind the wheel.

What the job looks like

• Delivering stockfeed and related products to our customers across the Waikato in an auger truck
• Daily pre-start checks and flagging anything that needs attention on the vehicle
• Bagging and packaging bulk products – calf meal and the like – back at the mill
• Loading and unloading bulk goods including fertiliser, seed, and stockfeed inputs
• Keeping decent records of deliveries and production
• Working safely and keeping an eye out for the people around you

What we’re after

• Current and valid Class 5 licence
• Fit enough for a physical day’s work, day in day out
• Some background with agricultural or industrial gear
• Careful and switched-on when it matters
• Reliable – the kind of person your teammates can count on
• Easy to work with and straight up in how you communicate
