Warehouse Assistant / Driver

We’re ‘the little big guys’ – large enough to reliably supply and distribute across New Zealand, yet small enough to be flexible and nimble in delivering ‘hands on’ service and innovative custom solutions.

Fresh Connection operates six business units in three locations throughout New Zealand. We are a 24/7 business and operate across the wholesale distribution and food processing environments.

About the Position:

Work with our warehouse team to ensure their deliveries are ready for the next day. Our Drivers are a key part of our Customer Service experience. We expect our drivers to deliver customer orders as per their expectations – correct order, at the right temperature, at the right time and at the right place.

Person Specification

Essential Skills:

1.       Previous delivery driving experience is preferable.

2.       Food safety and food storage knowledge and experience.

3.       Great customer service skills.

4.       Physically fit.

5       Class F (Forklift License)

Essential Attributes:

1.       Reliable.

2.       Approachable and friendly.

3.       Able to work as a team player but also comfortable to work autonomously.

4.       Positive and professional attitude.

30 Hours per week

Monday to Friday 7am to 1.30pm approx.
